Went fishing on Okoboji friday. Thought I'd show everyone what an awesome sunrise it was. The fishing was also good. Nothing like watching a sunrise at the lake except for maybe a sunrise in the treestand. Is it october yet?

Awesome picture! Emerson Bay I presume...are the panfish still biting on the north end?

I recognize that boat launch. Dad was there Friday also and got Skunked. He was practicing the art of shadow casting for waleyes with the fly rod.

We didn't do to bad. I went with two bass fisherman. Im starting like bass fishing. The guy I went with caught 13 bass and 2 northerns, he ws in the front of the boat. The guy in the middle caught 5 bass. I was fishing used water and still caught 6 bass. Only 2 bass were over 15" but it was still fun. Im a walleye fisherman but this bass fishing is alot of fun in the middle of summer.

Oh yeah I think it was emerson bay. Its only my second time on the lake. I was just riding. Pretty sure he said emerson.
