From Ukraine-Thanks for Giving Me A Taste of Home

I would like to thank everyone associated with this great website and all you guys who write in. My family and I have been missionaries in Kiev,Ukraine now for over 10 years and this website has really given me a wonderful taste of home. Having been involved in helping start a couple churches amongst other things God is leading us to move back to our home state of Iowa, in the Ames area, next summer. Big game hunting in Europe is much different than in the States- it's basically a rich man's sport which is very highly regulated. For the most part I've had to settle for hunting magazines, books and videos. Even though it's almost a year from now, I'm already getting pumped about getting some time in the deer woods! Again thanks guys for this awesome website and everyone's interaction with each other. It's been a glass of cool water in a hunter's desert. Looking forward to joining ranks with you boys.

Great to hear of others on this site with similar backgrounds! I spent 12 days on a mission trip in Minsk and Borisov, Belarus this last April. The Lord has really laid these folks on my heart and I cannot wait to go back.

I live in northwest Missouri and I too, enjoy Iowa whitetails. Welcome.
