anyone try frost seeding in to existing alfalfa ?? like clover , or chicory? or anything else need ideas .
ok thanks thought only problems with alfalfa seed is seedling in to standing alfalfa .Alfalfa has allopathic properties so seeding into it doesn't work very well.

Agreed. I've tried killing grass out of tired alfalfa fields and interseeding clover. Didn't work.I think the allopathic properties will keep many other species from growing but haven’t tried it
