FROST!!! SUCKS!!!!! It's been along time since a photo has been taken on my cams that hasn't had a frosted lens. Only the mid day does and fawns. If you like the cam thing, don't wish for frost.

Karre,
could you add some sort of chemical to your lens? I dont know if it would work or not but what about some rainx.

Karre, Go to the nearest vision center or somewhere they sell eye glasses. You can buy a antifog protectant.I used some paste like stuff in a little canister.Just smear it on then lightly wipe away.Works like a charm on any type glass.

I may have to try that b/c in all honesty, it's been almost a month since I got a clear picture.

And now if you could only get the bears to stop messing with the cameras you'd be set!

To say that running the cams has been frustrating is a major league understatement.

Are they in LULL-mode up there already? Seems like that may be the case. If so, they'll break one of these days and it will all business then.

Stay positive.

Not at all, just of the past 500 or so pics, 400+ have been nothing but frost or dew

That is a great tip...have to try that one.

I dont have much trouble with frost but do have a decent amount of trouble with dew.

Let us know how it goes.

I uses a product called Zooke. I like it alot and use it on my cams, binos, and scopes.

RainX on the outside and FogX on the inside. Make sure you use a desicant pack of some kind inside your case to protect the electronics.

I believe spit will help until you have something else.
