Frustrating day turns out all right.UPDATED 9-11-12!

So, get out on this beautiful day to find one camera I forgot to turn on last time I checked it (so mad!), another camera was pushed down the tree by a raccoon ending up getting a few hundred pictures of nothing, but the ground. Another camera wasn't working properly, just got it fixed (shutter some dust in it and wasn't working).

Now, I have just one camera left to check and it is on moved to a creek crossing between two fields of corn. Well, I just moved it to this location hoping to catch a few deer coming and going from food to bed. Didn't have high hopes being it was the only camera that wasn't baited with some mineral or cracked corn. Ended up getting pictures of my biggest bucks to date and I believe one of the bucks is a buck on the farm we call "Blackie/Hightower". His brows are different this year with a split, but overall rack has similar characteristics just brows aren't as tall this year. I have never put a stand in this location just because it is hard to access, but I am definitely going to maneuver a stand using the creek to access this spot!

Always great to have low expectations then get blown away!

The buck below I think is "Blackie/Hightower, what do you guys think?

No history with the following bucks that I can recognize, that first year they "mature" it seems like it hard to tell those typical 3 year olds from when the make the jump.

After careful analysis, I jumped the gun the buck I wanted to re-name Draper is actually the top buck on the farm, never had pictures of him before September, but the buck is named Blades.

Awesome to finally get some pictures of him! He has added some stickers here and there.

nice

Good lord, great action and during daylight! I know the feeling of having cameras crap on you...good that you still got plenty on camera!

Thanks guys, I was impressed to get daylight photos with the kind of heat we have been experiencing. I am sure the daytime photos will come to a stop soon. I didn't get a single day time photo of either buck last year, but never had photos of them before September either.

Nice deer! :)

The first two photos have a second buck in then, between the corn and the brush. He looks like a pretty nice buck also.

Thanks. Yeah, I got a few other decent bucks that showed up on that pull as well, but no history with them. I tried to zoom in and get a better view, but the 3mp photo gets grainy really fast I couldn't make out much.

Blackie update photos from Sept. 5-10th all shined up. Seems to be showing up about 6-7:30 every morning then again at 7-8PM at night. He is using the dried up creek to travel to and from the corn field. Depressed not to get any pictures of Blades all shined up. I now he has to be here and he was taking a very similar path in the late August photos I put up when I misidentified him.

You guys have any idea on a score for Blackie, I am thinking he is mid 150's gross.

Last photo is a tall 8pt. I don't recognize in the beans. All camera are down, but will put them back up shortly along travel routes really hope to find number 1, Blades again. He is definitely the biggest on the farm, but definitely hard to get on camera!
