Frustrating day turns out all right.UPDATED 9-11-12!
So, get out on this beautiful day to find one camera I forgot to turn on last time I checked it (so mad!), another camera was pushed down the tree by a raccoon ending up getting a few hundred pictures of nothing, but the ground. Another camera wasn't working properly, just got it fixed (shutter some dust in it and wasn't working).
Now, I have just one camera left to check and it is on moved to a creek crossing between two fields of corn. Well, I just moved it to this location hoping to catch a few deer coming and going from food to bed. Didn't have high hopes being it was the only camera that wasn't baited with some mineral or cracked corn. Ended up getting pictures of my biggest bucks to date and I believe one of the bucks is a buck on the farm we call "Blackie/Hightower". His brows are different this year with a split, but overall rack has similar characteristics just brows aren't as tall this year. I have never put a stand in this location just because it is hard to access, but I am definitely going to maneuver a stand using the creek to access this spot!
Always great to have low expectations then get blown away!
The buck below I think is "Blackie/Hightower, what do you guys think?
"Blackie" From last year same buck?
Blades 2012
No history with the following bucks that I can recognize, that first year they "mature" it seems like it hard to tell those typical 3 year olds from when the make the jump.
This guy has the tightest "crab claws" Awesome buck.
