Full moon & snow - anyone taking advatage?

Anyone take advantage of the full moon recently and the fresh snow and try some night time coyote hunting? I've done it once, and was 2 for 2 on calling dogs in... seems to really help boost the odds of calling them in. And it is amazing how well you can see. Get a scope with a bigger objective and fire away like it is noon time. I'm hoping Friday and Saturday night the moon is still bright enough and sky clear to take advantage of the night time hunting.

Was out the other night! It was a blast but didn't kill any

Im jealous. I look up at the full moon every night wishin we had snow. Nothing better than a full moon night sitting on a frozen river bank

Heading out for 3 sits tomorrow night, we'll see how it goes. Hope that moon still has enough burn to it to light the scene up!

We lost to much of our snow last week. I was pumped and we tried it a few nights but it's tough to see with spotty snow.

Last 3 moons have either just lost, or had no snow. Depressing. last year with the deep snow and consistant cold temps at this time i had called in maybe 15-16 and had killed 7. Ive got one so far this year. Sad. And what snow there is, is so crunchy you couldnt walk in on a deaf coyote from 2miles away.

Man, you guys are killing me. Here I was going to sit at work today and get mentally prepared for some night time hunting and sounds like it is tough at best. Going to have to check it out here in a few hours myself.

they should be going good the next couple days with these colder night time temps.

Haha, thanks for the pick me up Thomas - I'm giving it the college try no matter what! I really want to smack one with the shotgun and buckshot up close.
