Met my brother in law at his farm today, we planted some fruit trees, burned some NWSG, and did some shed hunting.

That one was a bummer for sure. Had super high hopes for him…not sure exactly how old, I guessed 2 or 3 based on trail cam pics.

Great day, congrats!! One word of advice...if you haven't already done so, please strongly consider caging those new fruit trees. I speak from experience. A non-caged tree is pretty much a lost cause IMO.

We caged them Daver. Always do, it’s a waste of time if you don’t.

I came back 3 days after planting fruit trees without cages ! Too late !! Bastards had eaten all the ends of the branches off!! Cage asap!!!
