The Hunt Never Ends....
Checked the cameras yesterday with hopes that something new or big would show up on them. Flipped through one of the cards and this guy showed up! I'm thinking...ok, this is gonna get good.

Clicked through a few more photos and it turns out it was just one of the regulars. Future booner? I think it's possible. He may only be 2.5 years old. Hopefully he can make it a few more years. I can't wait to see what he could turn into if given the chance.

He's stacked Chris! Looks like he's got a super short 5 on that one side, not sure if it would score tho. I think he's young, definately no older than 3.5, but I think he's 2.5. If he keeps that 6x6 frame he's a future booner for sure!
 
He definitely looks like he has the frame and potential to get there as long as he survives the next few seasons.
 
3.5 - Genetically speaking, a 2 1/2 scoring 150+ is like having a 220 incher on camera. Just doesn't happen very often. Plus he has bigger bases...

I don't know, just my thoughts typed out. I do know that he has potential for monstrosity next year!! ;)
 
All my buddies say I'm horrible at this age guessing thing, so take this for what it's worth, but he looks like a 2.5 to me according to the Iowa standards. He's going to be a whopper regardless -- that's a nice rack even if he is 3.5.
 
Just hope he doesn't get whacked this year.....It would been interesting to see him with another year under his belt.
