Has anyone used these and what are your thoughts? I'm thinking about picking up a pack here in town to bring back to Iowa with me before I leave next week. I know its a little late to be monkeying with broadheads a week before I leave, but I do like to complicate my life because I don't have enough stress these days.

Also, can you tie dental floss around the blades to keep them from deploying when testing them against field points as I've heard before and tried once with another mechanical I experimented with? Thanks!

I bought a pack this year...and love them so far. Haven't had a deer trail over 100 yards yet, which shouldn't be the case with any well placed shot. Pulling 65 pounds, I have had one yet to fail to open. Resharpeded two heads 3 times using a ceramic and carbide sharpener from Smith Industries, and replaced spider clips after shooting them. Blood trails have also been normal to above normal with 1 1/2" cutting diameter. Shots from 10 yards to 52 yards and all complete pass throughs.

As for practice purposes, they send a set of practice blades with them that are blunt and don't deploy, but sit the same height as the blades during flight. Fly just like blades in from what I can see. Overall they get a big :way: from me!

Also, watch this clip if you go with them, it will help you tremendously with the tension spider clips and understanding the broadheads.

I shot my buck last year with one and I double lunged him and he only went 60 yards. My friend who is now on whitetail freaks has to shoot t3's because of sponsors shot a deer in Kentucky this year at 68 yards and had a complete pass through. His deer went like 60 yards and tipped over. They made a believer out of him.

I used them last year and di not like them. They seemed tough but I lost two dee after what looked like good shots. I did not gain confidence in them so I went back to Rage.
