Hi All
Can anyone using a Moultrie game spy 100 tell me approx how long the 6v lantern battery lasts?

I used a quality Energizer 6vt and got about 1 month out of it. Now I use the rechargable 6 vt and it gets about the same....but I can recharge it for free.

If you use the cheap brand batteries, you will be lucky to get a weeks worth. So stick with either the good brand or rechargable

111 views and no replies. That must mean battery life is either so good or so poor no one wants to talk about it!

I have the original digital one from last year, which is basically the same and get around a month in the warmer weather on the rechargable battery. You can also use moultries solar panel they make for their feeders which help with the life of the battery also. It does not really charge it but helps maintain it, which is better when it gets cold.

ol' buck- bought one 1 month ago. Have not had luck with batteries even the good ones. a week maybe two if your lucky. Yes, I keep using it but I think a cuddyback is on my list. good luck this year!

Thanks for the replies! I wonder if the camera has to take mostly night time shots if battery life is shortened considerably because of the flash. Otherwise 1 month ain't too bad imo, I know there are cameras that will do better but they are more than a 100 smackers too.
