I saw a definate change in deer movement today. Not sure whether it was rain related, or just the second leg of the rut. Either way, I saw quite a few bucks on the prowl today, just waiting to step into a shooting lane.

I plan to be in the woods as soon as I get off work tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. I will be in the woods every minute this coming weekend.

One of my farmer friends called tonight and told me the bucks are really moving again. He said he watched 4 different bucks moving around today with there nose’s to the ground. Hopefully they are moving again!

Many of the girls have left the Bar!

Getting close to closing time and the competition will be hot for the last ones left!

Spinfxr and I hunted together all day yesterday in the rain. We had great deer movement but the big boys did not make themselves visible to either of us. I will say though that it was one of the best days I've had all year in terms of deer numbers in range.

I hope that's the case where we're heading. After striking out all last week, this might be my last weekend to get out.
