getting a tag to hunt with a outfitter

How long does it usually take to get drawn for a archery tag? and a muzzleloader tag? Do yall have a modern rifle season or just shotgun and muzzleloader? and how much is the tags if i get drawn'? Thanks for the reply
 
Thanks for the replies, i plan on putting in for the draw next year, i'd like to archery hunt but will take muzzleloader since the wait isn't as long, I plan on hunting SE iowa but know nothing about the area have never been to iowa. How's the public land hunting there? I look foward to coming there hunting it's a life long dream to chase the big iowa deer. I do not have much publi lannd here to hunt. Its very hard to get on a big deer here due to lack of farmers allowing you to hunt and poaching and number of deer hunters. They don't pass any deer up here so me tryin to pass deer does no good. I've deer hunted for 14 years and only have 2 what i call good deer one is approx 135 and a 140 never been scored.
 
If I get drawn and someone lends me a helpin hand on finding the right spot to hunt i'd be willing to help them out on killing a kentucky longbeard or a waterfowl hunt. Can't guarentee we will wear the ducks out depends on the migration and weather. we usually kill birds. Just let me know if anyone is interested, thats bout all i have unless you would let me pay you for your time. Thanks fellas shoot me a pm if interested

Don't count on getting anything bigger on public land in Iowa. Especially with a muzzleloader! You will be extremely lucky if you do. You would be better served to spend as much time as possible acquiring private land, and either scout as much as possible or have someone do it for you. Good luck.
