Just acquired a small piece of property that i want to put a food plot on it is very over grown with small trees and weeds what can i do to prepare it for next spring or even late fall?
well, if it was me i would clip some trees if you need to, spray it with roundup, disc the heck out of it and seed with an oats, winter rye, and white clover mix.
you should also get a soil test. You will probably need to add lime. With a little work, you should be able to plant a plot for this hunting season......IF it every rains again!!
