The Iowa Bow opener is drawing near and many of us are anticipating our first hunt of the year. Remember to check your equipment for safety reasons prior to starting the new season and always wear a safety harness while in your tree stand.
Iowa Hunting regulations are now posted online ... 2005 Iowa DNR Deer Hunting Info - there are plenty of hunting opportunities for antlerless deer this year. I would encourage you take advantage of these as you see fit in your specific hunting areas and try to target mature does when filling these tags.
