Rembrandt, I looked it up in a book I have that was written a few years ago by Leonard Lee Rue (The Deer of North America). There is a chart in there, but it only tracks the heart girth up to 45 inches. The estimated live weight for 45 inches would be 205 pounds, and it looks like every inch in the chart at this point will add about 8 pounds. So, a 48 inch girth should figure out at 229 pounds. I have used this on some of my deer in the past, and it has ran pretty true. Hope this is helpful.
