I am going to try shooting a different shaft this season and was wanting to get your opinion on some good arrows.

I'm goin to try out the 2" Blazer Vanes and the New 4 blade 100 gr. Muzzy's.

Can anyone share their opinions with me? That would be a great help.

I shot the Easton Axis arrows with 2" Blazers and 100 gr. Montecs. They flew really well for me.

I tried 100gr. 4 blade Muzzys a couple of years ago. I was using 5575 shafts I think 29 inches long with 4 inch feathers. I didn't think I got the bone penetration I had with the three blade 100gr Muzzys with the same shafts. There are alot of variables, probably the biggest was just me, but I felt the extra blade may have caused more drag through the skin and mussle, bleeding off kinetic energy before it got to bone. I don't remember off the top of my head about the cutting diameter. I think they are the same as three blades so to achieve the same diameter and keep the weight at 100gr the angle from tip to bottom of the blade has to be greater because the blades are shorter, therefore, in my warped way of thinking, the greater angle creates more drag on impact.

Again, I'm about the farthest thing from an expert on this but you wanted an opinion and I've always been known to have one, right or wrong.

I SHOOT CARBON EXPRESS CXL 350'S,2"BLAZERS WITH A 100 GRAIN 3 BLADE MUZZY.FINISHED WEIGHT IS AROUND 500 GRAINS.THEY FLY GREAT AND HAVE BLOWN THROUGH EVERYTHING I HAVE SHOT WITH THEM.

Bonker's, I hear from the local hunting experts that these new Muzzy MX-4's are pretty " dawg on bad ", What the heck we will give them a shot and see what happens.
