This has absolutly nothing to do with deerhunting but I just have to boast. South Winn Warriors are in the state football playoffs for the first time in 23 years. They tied for the conference title and made it in in their last season game with a win over Starmont. My youngest kid plays on the team and I couldn't wipe the smile of his face no matter how hard I would try.

Not that I would anyway. So I will have to sacrifice a little more deer hunting to attend at least one more football game. It's a nice problem to have though............GO WARRIORS....

Great luck to your son in the playoffs, unfortunately the team that I play on didnt make the playoffs, but i guess i always have next year, since i'm only a junior. We did however finish our season with a record of 6-3, our best record in quite some time. I think it's worth taking a few days off of hunting to watch your son play....best of luck!
 
Ummmm, Moossey dude, if I have the pairings right, you guys play Mt. Vernon in the first round. I guess you won't be missing all that much hunting time after all.

they play Aplington-Parkersburg wednesday night. But, A-P has a rich football tradition so I may not miss too much hunting afterall.
 
I sit corrected. It was late when the postings were on the TV and see my post in PMA about vision.
