For those of you who haven't filled up yet, you might want to do so. I can only imagine what the threat of Hurricane Rita is going to do to the price of a gallon of gas. I filled all the vehicles up this morning at 2.69. Not exactly the cheapest, but it beats 3.50.
I average 40mpg with my metro,i refer to it as the crackerbox,my 4 wheel drive truck still has gas in it i paid 1.75 a gallon for.I fire it up once every 3 weeks or so to keep the battery up.Maybe drive a mile to town in it once every couple of months to blow the cobbs out of er.Only drive the bonniville once a week. With hunting season aproching the truck will get drove but only when there is a deer that needs to be loaded in it.I dread the day i have to filler up again
I had some bad stuff this morning when I woke up but it's all better now. That's what I get for drinking beer and eating jalopeno nacho's last night...
