Gotta love the cuddebacks :(

Of course this is the only blurry picture out of twenty. Looks like a big eight point but I can't tell. For four hundred dollars you would think you could at least get a clear picture.

sure looks like a good one Caleb. I am loving my cruddeback as well, especially the feature that tells it took take pictures every minute from the moment you set it up until the memory card is full. Now if I could just get the deer to all parade around my camera for about 2 hours after setup , I would have some good pictures. Until then, i will have to settle for 114 pictures that would make a good flip book of watching grass grow.

That would have been a great picture if the deer wouldn't have been moving!

I had 10 pictures out of 82 last night on the new No-flash that weren't BLURRY.

Mine will be making a trip back. Not positive about this, but I think they have a fix for the board that has to do with shutter speed problems.

At this point in time, I think a fix for the Cudde's might be a little too late,....at least it is for me.

Muzzy, was your cam mounted securely or to a large enough tree so that it would not move in the breeze? Otherwise there might not be anything wrong with your cam, other than it being a Cuddeback. I've had that happen on two different occasions with two other camera models. After moving locations they worked fine. Normally this would only be an issue during hot weather.

Had it mounted on a fence post that i drove into the ground just for that purpose. Had no problems with it like that last year. Hate to send it back b/c of all the ones I hear going back, I might not see it again til next spring. Going to keep messing with it for awhile.

I think mine might be going back to Cabela's this weekend also. The no flash was my first trail camera and I would like to replace it with another digital and preferrable infrared at night if possible. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should exchange it for? I don't want to miss a day having one over my mineral lick. Thanks.

I use a Recon Outdoors and a homebrewed Sony. The Recon uses 6 D cells and will take roughly 250 pics on a set of bats, uses CF memory cards(hundreds of pic capacity), IR flash, they have color or B&W models. The trigger speed might not be as quick as Cuddie, but they are great on a lick, not great for trails though. I built a metal box and use a Python cable lock to ensure it stays where I put it. Your Walmart cams would be fine if you use mineral, salt or any other bait or food and cost less than half of a Cuddie. I personally like the IR flashs, but you have to pay for them. You can always build a few in the winter to save some $s. I think most are adequate if you are using them to save days of scouting and helping to locate your shooter.
