GPS Question...Help!

I'm looking into getting a GPS and I was wondering if any of you have experience with these two models or can steer me into the right direction. I'm looking at getting a Garmin 76 or Garmin eTrex Legend. Which one is better in your opinion? Keep in mind, I don't want to use the owner's manual everytime I pull this thing out to use it.

I'd like it to be fairly easy to use. Thanks for the info.

I have the etrex Legend and really like it. For all around purposes it seems to be the way to go. The thing I like about it the most is that you can get sun and moon times for any day of the year. Accuracy seems to be good with about 6-10 feet of error. I mark new trees that I want to hunt and that way I never have to come back until Im ready to hunt there .The legend also has a highway map already in it which is kind of nice. I read the manual once and havent looked at it since. Its pretty easy to use, since it has only 4 buttons. Most of the time you just use the toggle switch, which is nice when u are driving.

I also have the legend. I guess it depends on what you are going to be buying it for. For hunting purposes I recommend the Legend. If you want it for the mapping capabilities for traveling it looks like the 76 might be a better way to go. Have heard a lot of good things about the Etrex series and really like the Legend.

I bought a legend also,it took me a couple trip's out and a couple time's of reading the manual but it is accurate and once you catch onto it it's very simple to operate.

I really should have said what I wanted it for in my 1st post. I'd like it for stand spots, hunting land, fishing hot spots etc.. I don't need, although would like, the mapping stuff. You can get a 76 model that doesn't have the mapping stuff on it. Thanks.

I got the etrex legend and havent gotten lost yet, nock on wood... It's got a lot of great features and I shopped around for them and I found that Office max has them in thier catolog and, but they don't carry them but will order it and I saved approx 50 bucks...
