Grandson's 2nd Tom

We decided to try the last weekend. I'd take the bow and Jordy the gun.Sat AM we couldn't get anything close.Afternoon the wind was howling so we took the blind down put the bow away and decided to do a little run & gun in a few protected areas. Wasn't long before Jordy had his second tom for the year. This was his 3rd tom without a blind.Grandpa was really proud that he could sit still, stay composed and make the shot. He was excited that his bird had a double beard.

Grandpa had to hunt 4 days to shoot his bird this year.Jordy has hunted 7 days to shoot 5 birds.How fair is that? /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
I told him he was the guide next year.

He smiles like his grandpa.
