About 6 months ago my son started showing real interest in shooting a bow. He found my first bow an old fiberglass Bear and asked if he could shoot it. I said well I don't know so we gave it a try. He put half a dozen arrows in a box at 10 feet and thought that was pretty cool. He continued to ask often enough to shoot it I thought I better look into the best choice on the market so he could really have some fun shooting an not get discouraged by inadequate equipment. After a little research I found a new bow coming out from Diamond called the Nuclear Ice and all the guys at the archery Trade Show thought it was just what the market needed for very young shooters. With a short axle to axle and a mass weight that small shooter can handle it looked like a great option to get started. I called Boyd at Buck Hallow and reserved one of the first ones he could get his hands on. It fits his frame well and he loves it. Boyd has a few in stock with more on the way. They come in pink digital camo for the girls as well. Time well tell if his path stays on a course with the outdoors close to his heart. One thing is for certain we are having a blast finding out.
Not bad for a rookie!
Cool stuff!
Boyd, Had a few in stock RH, LH an d a pink RH make sure you call before heading that way. These bows are flying off the shelves filling a market void.
As you can see from the list below the Nuclear Ice with the short axle to axle and low mass weight it is a clear stand out for an early youth option in a serious bow. It comes with a 3 pin sight, 3 arrows, a 3 arrow quiver, and a nice rest ( like a whisker biscuit with an open notch in the top).
