One of the benefits I get as a Fed is great pro deals on all kinds of equipment. About a year ago, I was sent a link to Promotive, which is a compilation of all kinds of pro deals beyond what I was receving. I was looking at some gear recently and it clicked that several of you on IW qualify for the various teams and can get great prices on some really good brand name gear. If you are in law enforcement, the military (active, retired, served), a hunting guide, Fire and Rescue, a coach, tactical instructor, sporting goods retailer, etc. (there is a HUGE list to choose from), then you can qualify to be "added" to that team to receive great discounts on brands including Bushnell, Zeiss, G5, Quest, Scent-Lok, New Balance, Gregory, SOG, Benchmade, Crimson Trace, Kershaw, Eberlestock, Code Blue (great decoy prices there), etc. (I have 130+ brands as a DOI employee and a wildland firefighter). There is gear related to running, skiing, fishing, hunting, camping, mountain biking, all kinds of sunglasses.
So go to www.promotive.com and check it out. You should be able to register directly and find a "team" that you can belong to, especially if you are creative, and get signed up.
