They showed part of this town and festival last night on the History Channel, during a show about mountain men.

Dang, I knew I was forgetting to watch something.

My seven year old son would flip out if I took him to this! He was learning about Indians in school this last fall and insisted we build a tee-pee out back. As we were cutting poles and constructing it I reminded him that the Indians did not have over-sized zip ties and baling wire to build theirs with.

One of my buddies out here used to do a bunch of work in Pinedale and has been to this a couple of times. He said it was one of the best events he's ever been to and well worth the road trip.
