This was my second year using GR's and I have been very happy with them. From tree stands I saw everything go down within view and had great entrance and exit wounds. I have one situation where I probably won't be using them again. I was stalking through some cedars back to the truck for lunch and shot a bedded doe at about 20 yards. After the shot she up and wheeled around left hand turn away from me. After backing out and eating lunch we came back and found blood for five to ten yards and the arrow missing its nock. The arrow had blood about 15 to 18 inches up the shaft and was clean thereafter except for the vanes which looked like they had been chewed on. I think the shot must have hit the opposing shoulder and she pulled it out. I am wondering if a muzzy or Montec would have done more damage on the way back out. The blood trail dissappeared and we spent the rest of the day looking for her. Never found her or more blood which was discouraging. I concluded that it was probably easy for her to pull out, i.e., like pulling it out of a 3D target, those blades collaspe and they are a lot easier to pull than a muzzy which wants to grab everything in its way back out. This is the only time I have not had a pass through with them and maybe I should not have taken the shot at a bedded animal.
