Gulp Alive! Baits

Anyone have any experience using the Gulp Alive minnow shad baits? The stuff seems pricey but the concept sounds very tempting.

I tried it last year and liked it. I'm in a area where minnows are 15 miles away. I used the emerald shiner in 2 1/2". I'm trying the 3" this year. One bait caught several fish. The big bluegill hammered this bait before alot of the crappie could get it. Which is ok. Yum fish fillets.

I was skeptical of it as well due to the price last year. Some fellow members of this site turned me on to it and I haven't looked back. I now have a giant tub with nearly every kind of Alive bait on the market! It just plain works!

Awesome to hear.... now would you be willing to share any techniques that you use with it? How do you rig it? .... what types of fishing conditions and structure do you use it?

I appreciate any tips you are willing to share....

the stuff IS all it is cracked up to be!

i keep one of the little tubs around and put my used gulp 8" worms back into the tub of top secret juice and it makes them last longer! use the minnows and leaches under a slip bobber near timber about 6-8 foot down....
