I just want to let everyone know that Pocahontas County and now Boone Counties now have shacks that are reserved and accessible to handicapped hunters. Birdwatching, Turkeyhunting, DEERHUNTING, etc... You need to contact the Conservation boards of each of the counties to reserve and get the keys to unlock them. We want to prevent vandalism. We are working to get them in every county in the state of Iowa, so if any of you know board members, drop a line for us if you would. (I'm in a wheelchair and was the first one in Iowa to hunt from one and got a buck last fall!)
