Hang Ons?

I'm looking to purchase some type of hang on stand. I have very little experience with Hang ons and wondered what you guys recommend.

So, what do you guys recommend? Is there any brand I should steer clear of?

I'm looking for one that won't break the bank but at the same time would be a good bet for safety and portability..

I haven't really had any terrible luck with any of them and I've tried quite a few. I have not tried the new Muddy brand treestands but I've heard they are nice. Biggest thing is the hanging mechanism (pre hanger clip like the new muddy treestands do, API had screw in t-hangers long ago) those things make hanging a stand a lot easier. Biggest thing money is going to buy is weight or lack thereof.

Can't go wrong with Gorilla's (seats are nice), API's work well and I thought seats were very comfortable as well, lone wolf hang on's are nice as well. If you have to pack in a ways to put your stands up, I'd recommend something lighter. Good luck!
