Has anyone seen

DOUBLE LUNG

Last week I was at southern archery in Spencer and they had a picture of a deer that was shot down by Rockwell City. This deer was a huge non-typ. The guy bought his new set-up from them and wanted them to see the deer so he brought it up to them. This deer is well over 200 inches. Wondering if anyone else has heard or seen it. It is a very inpressive deer that's for sure.

No I have not heard anything about this and my father-in-law lives near there and is very good friends with a local taxi that would have probably heard of such a deer. If you hear anything more concrete please update the post as I will be headed that way for turkey day and would love to know more details before I leave.

I was in Ft Dodge today at Keiths Sporting Goods (old Nordquist) and their "braggin board" had a computer photo of two real nice bucks. One was stated at "231" from around Lake City which is SW of Rockwell City about 12-15 miles. Big non-typical with what looked to be a third main beam on the right side and HUGE bases. Calhoun county is probably in the lower fourth of the IA trophy registry and this buck I would think is huge for that area of the state. I would imagine that this is the same buck photo you saw.
