has the itch begun?

BDAHMS

Be here Now
so I was going through my work calendar today and came across Oct 2014- damnit- now I am already excited for hunting season and it just ended! Even though there is still shed season, fishing, morels, trail cams, etc- I already have that itch- who else is watching hunting shows at night already excited- I cant be the only one???

thinking the same thing I can't wait to start running cameras again won't be long and it it will all begin again!!

Ate some pressure cooked, pulled deer sandwiches the other day. Sure makes me excited for this coming fall!!

I here ya!! I always do a count down to deer season at work. It drives my employees absolutely crazy.
Only 7 months and 2 days until bow season starts in MO!!!!'

I look more forward to summer catfishing right now more than anything. Well of course finding a few sheds, killing a couple turkeys has to happen first. Bring on the heat!!

I have been anxious since about 5:30pm 11/29/13 (last time I deer hunted). But also anxiously waiting to find some sheds and get a coyote or two down.

I guess I have too many hobbies that deer hunting hasn't crossed my mind since I tagged. Shed hunting, chasing walleyes and catching crappies, picking mushrooms, hunting turkeys in Iowa, SD, Neb then right into running bank poles after big flatheads, then running trail cameras and playing slow pitch. It's a never ending cycle and I feel bad for people who don't hunt or fish :D:D

I have shed season around the corner (heading out looking for early elk drops in 2 weeks) and then my daughter's first turkey hunt followed by my own the next weekend. By then, I'll know if she got drawn for an elk tag and if I did, too. As much as I want to chase a bull with my bow again, I want her to get out there and feel success! Right now, I'm itching to get the draw results (end of March, if we're lucky) before I can itch for anything else!
