I was sorting through some of last springs photos and this one I remembered like it was yesterday. My eight year old Zack and I had driven 35 miles in the early morning darkness to a spot that was a "sure thing". We had sat all morning in the misty rain and was headed home empty handed when we got the call from my wife. "There are two huge turkeys behind the house fighting over a hen!" I knew they would be gone by the time we got home but I could see them strutting in the back field when I pulled down the lane. Zack insisted that we put the old "Indian-Sneak" on them but we got busted by a hen before we could seal the deal. Can't win them all I guess. COME ON SPRING!!!!
