Hawkeye Basketball Tickets - want to buy

Would like to get two tickets to a Hawkeye BB game, either Purdue, Michigan, or Penn State. I can get them online but they're nose bleed seats. I remember that there are several season ticket holders in our IW community and many others know someone that has tickets.

Anyway, this is a Christmas present for a family member so let me know if anything can be arranged. Thanks!
 
Those babies should be a dime a dozen as good as the Hawk basketball team is. Check ebay or Stub Hub, I know you hate ebay but I would be willing to put the purchase in for you

Stub Hub has tickets for all the games, Purdue are most expensive, Penn State are cheapest. Center court tickets, Section N row 26 or so are $50 each for Penn State, I use to sit about the same location when I could get the tickets from a buddy, they are hard to beat. That is a good price when you consider the sucky seats are going for $40 or so.

Not many listed on ebay yet, the Purdue/IA tickets are listed but they are already approaching $100 with several days left in the auction

Could try Craigslist under the ticket catagory; can also post on there "want to buy tickets"?
 
Smartest thing to do would be to buy the row 40 seats at face value and tell him to move down to the better seats after tip off because no way in heck they'll be sold out.

Dollars to pesos, or in this economy pesos to dollars he'll still end up with decent seats, and in my opinion there is not a bad seat in Carver anyway.

Yeah, the seats during the wrestling meet were horrid. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif New world record capacity for a college wrestling meet and the clowns got thumped. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
