Well this was the deer that had the pass on my farm this year. Sure Enough he was also the most visible. I had a buddy pass him the first day bowhunting. I brought my wife out a few times and I rattled him in about everytime she was with me. Every time he came in it seemed like he had another tine broke off. Here is the season progression.

That's great you passed him up- he's going to be a giant later. Imagine if everyone passed younger bucks like that with that potential?!?! You have a gift being that he has amazing genetics, you are letting him get old AND he has the personality of being visible and aggressive!!!

Man I had to look to see where you were from.
I hunt South Central Nebraska and had his twin come through a couple of weeks ago, Busted off right side, left side only a G2 etc etc.
My guy didn't want any part of the nice 4x4 that came through just a few minutes before.(I think he knew him)

I swear some bucks bust up there racks on purpose to avoid being shot :) Neat pics!! He will be a pig in a year or two.

I am with everybody else I would like to see what is busting him up too. I have pictures of big gnarly 8 but he looks like he would break a hip if he had to do any fighting. I am sure there are a few out there just not sure where they are.
