Head shot broadheads?

Who uses them.... which is best...
I have been reading reviews on the Magnus Bullheads, and I see a lot of people complaing about bad flight? Is that fixed with the arrows they recommend?
Arrowdynamics better flight with a normal hunting arrow?
Any help would be great, thanks

A couple of years ago, I posted a similar question and the feedback I got all centered around using the Victory arrows that are recommended by Magnus. I recently picked up a pack of broadheads, but haven't gotten the arrows yet so I can't comment beyond that. But I distinctly remember the die-hard Bullhead users saying use the Victory arrows and some were having accuracy out to 40 yards with that set up. I'm sure seasoned Bullhead users will chime in at some point, though.

Use the recommended arrows and you won't have a problem. A couple friends and I have used them alot in the past with great success. I just never felt comfortable shooting them past 30 yards. Not that it couldn't be done, that's just as far as I felt comfortable shooting them.

Used them for the last 5 years or so and love them. Magnus bullheads with victory arrows. The arrows make a HUGE difference.

Bullheads with the victory arrows.

My only complaint is they are not very sharp and need sharpened imo.

Another thing worth mentioning on Magnus, the have a great warranty. If you bend or break their head, just email them a picture and they ship you a brand new head-No Matter What!!

I broke one last year, here was their response:

All you have to do is email me a picture of the broadhead or bent blades along with your complete name and address and we will send you a replacement. We have a lifetime replacement guarantee. Just a tip which you may be doing already but I always like to tell everyone this. I would shoot them into a cheap pillow and make sure the pillow moves to absorb the impact. I would also ck the tightness of the screws after each shot. What happens is the screws can loosen just slightly and this makes the blade bend and brake. REGARDLESS. All you ever have to do with any of our broadheads is send us a picture and we replace, doesnot matter what you shoot them into. Thanks and let me know if I can be of service. We are very customer service oriented and we back our products 1000%.

As everyone else has stated, the Victory arrows make a huge difference. If your bow is tuned relatively well, you shouldnt have to change anything. Because of the added weight, my arrows hit a little low beyond like 30 yards, but within normal killing range, everything is dead on.

Heres a video I put together last spring when I was testing them. On the last shot, I had to use my 50 pin..

I want to thank everyone for the help on this topic. In 2 days, 2 birds, and still have 2 tags to fill (me and camera man each have a bird so far). I will get pics and video clips posted when time allows. I did nail a big tom opening morning, and bent a blade, sure enough, they are shipping me new ones.. cant get much better than that!:way:

I'd like to try them, sure make less of a mess when cleaning the turkey. Got something new to try this year, pretty sure if I hit meat the bird will fall in half.
