Headed to Illinois!

As many of you recall I purchased both hunts for Paul's benefit auction last December. Dad and I are extremely excited about this opportunity. I'd like to thank IW for their extreme generosity putting it all together in support of Paul and his family. It shows great support for someone who gave a great deal directly and indirectly to all of us. My excitement is somewhat tempered with Paul's recent passing, but I'm sure he will be keeping tabs from above on all of us. If I'm able to get cell service I will try to keep everyone updated on how the hunt goes. We will start hunting tomorrow and be here for for 6 days. I also want to say thank you to Matt Ferrell of Lucky Outfitters for his generosity donating these hunts for Paul's behalf.

Thanks guys. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning right now! This is my first experience hunting an area with true giants by anyone's standards. It's also information overload to look at a map covering 4500 acres.
