Heading to the Oats!

Here's a couple short video clips of some does and my target gobbler for next spring. I hope the video clips work.

It makes you wonder what all you miss on your camera's by just taking one picture. In both video's it would have taken a picture and then you'd have never seen the fawn or the second year and a half old coming through. Less than fifteen seconds and all was quiet again.

Just wondering which cuddeback model you have and how long you have had it. I have an older one that works pretty well, and I know there were a lot of problems with the new excite, expert, no flash line.

I got the no-flash last November. There is issues with this camera: blurry pics and IR confusion meaning their black/white when they don't need to be. Mine's pissed me off more than one time but I think any camera will. I won't buy another until they get all the bugs worked out. They do take great pictures though.

By the way did the two video clips come up? I got them to once but now it's way slow.

I got the video clips to come up fine, very cool! My cuddeback experience hasn't been the best either. Like I said the one I have now works well, but it was the second one I tried as I send the first one back to Cabelas, and this one has made the round trip from my house to the factory twice. But now it is good. I agree they take unbeleivable pictures when they work. I would buy another if they could make them operate consistantly. 400 bones is a lot of change for a sometimes-good trail camera.

I have the excite model.. It takes great pics when the deer isnt moving.

I have nicknamed my camera the "BlurryBack"

Not bad! Me and Muzzy call em Cruddybacks!

I've been tempted to send mine in just to see what they would do.

Huntcrazy,
How long were you without it when you sent it in?

Here's a picture of a buck I got but the video right after the pic wasn't using the IR. Kind of that inbetween time . Looks pretty sweet when he's skylined.

I hear ya Ghost. Last year I was able to get the old style 3.0. Wish I would have listened to my gut and went with that camera. Should still see if I can get those.

They had the camera about two weeks the first time and a little longer the second time. I am pretty sure they just repackaged it and sent it back the first time, it worked identically as when I sent it in, zero improvement. Works good now though. A buddy of mine (axe911buck on here) has a handful of the old 3.0s and they all work perfectly. Ebay still has them once in a while but they bring a premium because people know they work. I realize they have to make changes to stay competetive but it seems like the changes have been for the worse.
