help asap new bow and need help

does the cable guard usually need to be wrenched on to tighten?it started easy but i dont want to ruin anything and it got pretty tough to hand screw ,any help much appreciated,ioway

are you trying to put it on before the cable slide or after? The cable guard should be tight once installed.

decided to take the bow to a pro shop and get everything done the right way, thanks for the reply
