Help: Info Mccormick Drill

I bought this drill a few years ago and don't really know how to use it. I was told it still worked fine ,and I have no reason to doubt the seller. I cleaned it and oiled everything . I can see how to use the fertilizer hopper(which is still in great shape). I'm guessing this controls the seeding rate,but not sure whether to read it from the left side of the lever or the right:

What does this speed lever do?

It has a chart for fertilizer and seed.

What does this counter tell You?

Could someone please provide a little know how.

The top picture is your adjustments for your seed settings. I would google your model and get a owners manual. I believe your speed lever is actually a lever to disingage it. I would check into a owners manual. Good Luck

Counter is for acreage. FYI graphite is a good thing get a big bottle use everywhere.
