Help me out on this one

I've got two pics here. The first one is the one I want to figure out what is on this guy's head. The second is just a comparison of the tree he's behind. What do you think that is up there? Looks kinda ugly.

his beam doesn't look too big but where his brows look to be there seems to be a lot of bone. hard to say, doesn't seem to have an overly huge body. hope you can get some more pics, or on video!
