I guy I hunt with had this deer mounted this year. His dad shot it during the very first Iowa deer season. He thought it was 1957. The rack has been hanging in the barn since then. It was cover with bird crap and had to be cleaned and refinished. It scores in the 160's. It would be interesting to know what the biggest deer shot in the state was that year. I bet this one had to be right up there.
