You going to hunt three toes with your's this spring?

I've got a long bow coming but this will be the weapon of choice if it's not done by then.

What you mean it won't fit in a DB? For the money they cost anything should work.

As for being afraid to take it out.....Those Groves were made to shoot, not hang on the wall. If mine blows up in the field it's a more fitting death that collectiog dust.
Just thought I'd give you a hard time. Good luck this season.

That's a 1972 vintage Groves. A member here, Earl E. November restored it for me a couple years ago back to it's original factory type finish with the flocked riser. I know there's better quivers out there but I wanted it restored back to original so I went with what was on it 34 years ago. Couldn't beleive they were still made. I've also got Micro-flite arrows and Hilbre heads to complete the restoration.

I knew Muddy has one like it so I thought maybe I could get a little friendly competition going with him.

Hadn't given that much thought Muddy. A shooting contest wouldn't be much fun since we both know I'd beat you

Maybe the first one to bag three toes with a Groves wins a bag of morels or something along those lines.
