I was checking out the Muzzy web sight and guess what I saw in the trophy room? Some guy that looked just like you!

You planning on shooting some Muzzy's this fall?? Can't go wrong with them that's for sure.

Been shooting them for five years or so. Love em. I don't even think about shooting anything else. Go back in a few days and you will see my ugly mug on there too.

By the way Muddy what grain do you shoot? I shoot 100's. Have you ever tested shooting different weights to see how much drop there is?

I've been shooting 115 gr for a LOOOOONGG time now. I was shooting 125's back in high school and I remember quite a bit of drop from the 125't to the 100's actually. Not sure why I went with 115, probably cost. I'm going to try 75 gr this fall I think. After shooting my turkey with 75 gr Rocket Miniblasters I'm wondering how much penetration I'll lose going from 115 to 75 grains. Granted on the bird I hit leg bone and wing bone but I figured I'd have more than 8 inches of penetration. Oh well, the 75 grain tips are shooting like darts so I'll at least give 'em a try.

Only 5 years with Muzzy? Man, what did you do before that?? Believe it or not I've been shooting Muzzy since I was 8 or 9. AWESOME 'heads.

How are you guys getting on the Muzzy site. I took my deer this year with 100 grain 4 blade Muzzy's. I just wondered if they put your picture up for a kill with their product or something. I would like to promote their product. I think they make a great broadhead.

Go to badtothebone.com (or something like that) and you gotta get into the trophy pictures page and there's a page that'll allow you to upload a picture. they will preview it before they post it. they will post any picture if it's somewhat tastefull, they put me on their website so that says something about their cut off line.

Man Muddy I'm trying to think back when I started to use Muzzy's. I guess it was more like 7 years ago now that I think about it and like you I was shooting 125's on a 2413 arrow. They dropped like a rock once I got out past 25 yards. I used what ever I could get my hands on before that. Thunders, Satellite, etc.

I think the 75 grain will do fine on deer. Rack has killed two elk with a 100 grain so a 75 grain should do fine on deer. The only thing I would be careful of is getting the balance point to far back on the arrow. If you do, it can make your arrow fly kinda crazy.

I'm getting great arrow flight with the field tips and the Rockets right now. I don't think that'll change with the Muzzy's when I get them. Thanks for the reinforcement on the 75 grainers, I re-measured the arrow last night, I got 11 inches of penetration with that Rocket before it worked back out, I think I'll be fine with the lighter weights!!
