I am thinking about getting this sight and was looking for some input on it.

I am wondering if the yardage tape is easy to set, and is it as truely as accurate as they claim?

I also have a soft lock quiver, does it work well with this sight.

Thanks for your in put.

I shot this sight last year. I sighted in at 20 and 60 and it was dead on everywhere inbetween. I really liked the sight plus HHA has a great warranty. You might have to shim the quiver bracket to get enough clearance.

I don't have that exact HHA sight, but so far I've loved mine.

I'm going to set my pin at 27 yards for deer hunting next fall. Read this a a pretty good distance for a single pin sight and to cover most of your shots while in the stand.

Has anyone ever been busted because of trying to change the yardage on the sight. I also thought of getting one but couldnt do it because what if the sight is set for 20, and a buck comes in at 40 and i miss because of trying to judge it or i get busted moving it, or i try to move it and he walks through my shooting lane. There is already so much stuff that can go wrong in a tree stand i dont want to add some more.

I don't have one but 2 friends do and they love them. I'm with SouthernIowa on the fence about haveing to move stuff during crunch time. If you have one of the newer super fast bows probably wouldn't be a big deal. Set it at 20-25 yards and call it good.

I was also on the fence. Hunted all season last year and never was presented with a shot over 30yds. I wouldn't really worry about it. If I'm going to shoot a deer past 30yds he better be relaxed and in the open or I'm not taking the shot (9 times out of 10 I wouldn't take it anyway). But if I were to take it I think I would have plenty of time to range the animal and adjust the sight.

Set the pin and 25yds and practice from a tree.

It's very nice only having to look at one pin. Just my .02

If anyone has some experience using these sights and has some stories i would like to hear them. I really do like the one pin and its really bright but i'd like to hear some imput from others before i pay 120 bucks for one.

I don't believe you have to tighten and loosen it every time to move the pin. I think it is stiff enough that you can leave it loose and just move it. If you were shooting allot you'd probably want it tight but in a tree with one maybe two shots you don't have to. That's what my friend says.
