There is a really good article in the current issue of the Missouri Conservationist (Aug. 2003, Vol. 64, Issue 8)about a class called "Wild Game 101". It provides an opportunity for students to prepare and sample duck, turkey, rabbit, venison fish and other wild game.
Sounds like it really changes kids attitudes about eating and appreciating wild game. I did the same thing once when I was teaching a HS class in fish and wildlife and it really went over well.
If any teachers are on this thread and you want to have a positive impact on young people's lives in terms of attitudes toward hunting and wild game as food this is a tough approach to beat.
