Hollowcore precast concrete slabs?

Has anyone ever used these? Where I want to put a garage/building there is pretty decent grade. Talking probably a 8' drop in 30'. A buddy said I might be better off doing something like that rather than a retaining wall and tons of fill. Just curious if anyone on here has done anything like it? I like the idea but haven't seen any costs yet.

We use them all the time in commercial construction, mostly in roof applications over canopies, small roofs, or similar applications. Occasionally you will see supported/elevated slabs made entirely of precast planks. If you are proposing to use it as a floor it will have to be fully engineered. It would required bearing both front and back. You would still have to construct a "back" wall of 8’ + frost depth so your talking about a 12’ concrete wall. If you are looking to span 30’ you are going to be into a fairly thick slab. That means is will take at least a small truck crane to set them. I’m guessing you can buy enough fill 20 times over before you cover all the costs of using precast hollow core.
