Home Brew Ok has anybody been doing any of these? I use to build my own cameras, infact I still use almost all home brews. I have not built a camera in a long time but this looks pretty strait forward.

That seems rather simple. Those would only work during the daylight hours correct? I didn't see a light mentioned anywhere.

I am sure this is daytime only. At haggshouse they are building video unit that aren't remoted with a slave flash.

I haven't played wit a homebrew build in a while and am not sure if I want to start again but this sure peaks my interest.

IR is available. It's a function of the camera and built in. This can also be done with normal internet connections as well if you have that kind of service where you want these to be. The farther from the service the more exspensive the camera. They also have repeaters or bridges that are stand alone or you can do it in a series of cameras closer and closer to your service. One of my customers had a nice IP camera that was solar with a battery and wireless they had internet access in a building 500 yards away it worked nice! Type in the IP address and there you are zoom, tilt, scan, neat technology.
Man, I'd never get any work done if I had one of these..
No kidding I'm thinking a dedicated monitor will be in order.
