Homebrew/P41 Question

Alright, I had a Penn's Wood's cam that I got a couple years back for dirt cheap and the Sony P41 died in it last year. I just got another P41 off of ebay and I was wondering if I'd be able to transfer the parts for the trailcam switches from the original to the new one?

Anyone have any ideas if this can be done?

Don't see why not. Just need to "unhack" the old one and use the parts on the new one. How does your wiring hook into the old cam? Does it have a stereo jack installed in the cam as the connection point or just wires going through the housing?

Maybe I'll get some pics tonight if I remember. Its not a stereo jack, its one of those 3 prong ones I think...bout a 3/8" dia plug.

Should be able to, although I think they used a lower quality part inside the camera. The wires may break pretty easy. If it does let me know, i probably have a replacement laying around.
