I pretty sure it was 225 field dressed.I thought that was pretty good until A friend of mine got one that I helped bring in that weighed almost 240.Man he was a lug.
I've never weighed one either but if I were to guess I'd say that I've shot 4 bucks over 300 pounds on the hoof, no idea what they weighed field dressed, nobody weighs their deer up here. But, I've shot 4 bucks that were a real chore to drag and load, even with help,in fact I had to get help with those 4.
A couple bucks that were in the 215 / 220 range. Most memorable was a doe that yeilded 95 lbs. of boned meat! Here's a chart that can be somewhat usefull. Weight tables
My biggest confirmed was 220# FD but in 89, I shot one with a shotgun that even in the peak of my Sr High wrestling season...I could hardly budge him.......coming from a guy that could throw around the heavyweight with no problem. I guessed him over 275????????? Just his rack, head cut off at the base of skull and cape to the shoulder weighed 45# on the bathroom scale
