How long does everyone leave a camera in the same location? I've been having good luck over a mineral lick, but catching pictures of the same group of does and fawns and occasionally one small buck. The buck doesn't show up very often. I keep thinking the big one will pass through eventually. How large is a buck's range during the summer, and how often do they cover new ground?

I have to move mine every week or so to keep the darn ants from making it their home!
Dress like you would if you were hunting, "scent free as possible" wear your rubber boots and some gloves to keep down scent and you should be ok. Move it around to different food sources and field edges with desireable treats like wild plumbs, clover, etc... The bucks I see this time of year aren't covering alot of ground yet, but if you have seen him there, get your pics early because before long his predictable habits won't be so predictable.
