How old is this deer?

Okay I know you have heard this a lot however this deer really has me stumped because I think it is a deer on it's last leg. He has a terrible rack and his body says otherwise. If you compare this deer with another 3.5 year old deer in the same spot the deer in question looks a lot bigger. He looks like he might have a growth on the side of his face but I can't tell. What do you guys think about the deer with the small rack??

thats a tough call,
his head doesnt look like he is that old, however, his body looks bigger than a 2.5 yo

but if i had to guess, id say he is a 2.5 year old....
